n4x On Demand Server

The C-COR n4x On Demand Server is the most scalable, cost-effective and reliable VOD platform available. With integrated storage and centralized architecture, the C-COR n4x On Demand Server lets operators deliver as much as 170,000 hours of unique On Demand content to more than 60,000 subscribers simultaneously from a single copy of the content, eliminating the need to buy additional storage or use extra bandwidth streaming content to distributed servers. C-COR consolidates VOD operations management, and GigE transport helps operators manage available bandwidth intelligently for maximum efficiency and return. C-COR simplifies the complexity of deploying On Demand television while maintaining the lowest total cost of operation for cable operators and telecom service providers.

The n4x On Demand Server gives operators the ability to deliver a wide variety of digital services including VOD, SVOD, network PVR (nPVR), IP, HD VOD, SDTV and HDTV. With the n4x, operators can also deliver services using several formats and transport mechanisms, including Gigabit Ethernet and DVB-ASI, all from one affordable platform. And the n4x is easy to integrate with existing infrastructure because its open architecture supports a wide range of interfaces and leading set-top boxes.
